Day Two
The second day commenced with Lhabsang and Tshogkhor, continuing the sacred activities of the empowerment.
Kyabje Rinpoche then bestowed the Tshigdün Ladrup Wang. Tshigdün Ladrup is the Guru Sadhana of the Seven-Line Prayer, one of the most profound Guru practices of the Northern Treasures (Jangter) tradition. This empowerment establishes the practitioner's connection with Guru Padmasambhava's enlightened body, speech and mind and authorises the practice of this sacred Guru Sadhana under the guidance of an authentic lineage master. Through this empowerment, practitioners receive the blessings of the Guru lineage and create the causes for removing obstacles, accomplishing the path, and swiftly progressing towards enlightenment.
Kyabje Rinpoche also bestowed the Tshe Wang (Long Life Empowerment). This empowerment is traditionally received to strengthen life force, remove obstacles to longevity, and create the causes for a long, healthy and meaningful life dedicated to Dharma practice and the benefit of all sentient beings.
The sacred programme concluded with Tshog Cham and Tshoglu and the joyful singing and dancing of the Three Auspicious Songs (Tashi), offered collectively by the thousands of devotees gathered. The atmosphere was filled with joy, gratitude and heartfelt aspirations for the flourishing of the Buddha Dharma and the long life of Kyabje Rinpoche.
