View pageThe overall spiritual direction of Kharchu Centre Australia is provided by Kyabje Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche, who serves as the Patron and Spiritual Head of the organisation.
His Eminence provides spiritual guidance and helps ensure that the Centre's activities remain aligned with the values, teachings, and lineage traditions of the Buddha Dharma.
Resident Khenpos, preceptors and masters of Buddhist philosophy, and visiting teachers from the parent monastery in Bhutan support the Australian community through Dharma teachings, meditation guidance, spiritual counselling, and traditional Buddhist services.
The Executive Committee serves as the principal governing and oversight body of Kharchu Centre Australia.
It is responsible for strategic leadership, governance oversight, compliance and accountability, major decisions and approvals, and the long-term vision and sustainability of the Centre.
The Management Committee serves as the operational and coordinating body responsible for implementing the strategic direction and decisions of the Executive Committee.
It supports the day-to-day administration of the Centre and helps ensure that approved plans, programmes, and community activities are carried through in a practical, coordinated way.

This structure supports accountability, continuity, and responsible stewardship while allowing the Centre's activities to remain aligned with its non-profit purpose and Dharma values.

This includes the original task force appointed by Kyabje Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche to help establish the Centre in Australia.

The Treasurer maintains detailed financial records and prepares financial reports relating to the Centre's income and expenditure.
The Executive Committee provides governance oversight to help ensure that funds are used appropriately and in support of the Centre's spiritual, educational, cultural, and community objectives.
The Centre strives to maintain sound financial practices and responsible stewardship of all resources entrusted to it.
